We would like to advise members that The Blue Book has been replaced with the Chapter and SIG Manual of Operations, which is now available on our website. With the last review taking place in 2018 and due to the confusion over the name of the document, a recent review has taken place which has also seen a name change. All chapter and SIG executives will receive an updated document, which will be mailed out to the secretary. This manual has been designed to offer definitive processes for chapter and SIG committees. With significant changes to the ways in which we now operate, especially regarding COVID-19, the changes within the document were necessary. We believe that the review will give chapter and SIG executives more guidance for hosting their monthly outings, which was something requested from several office bearers. Additionally, with chapters only making up approximately 10 percent of the members, the manual will allow for them to be more inclusive and attract new members. The manual is available on the Benefits website under Policies and under Chapter and SIG Documentation. The changes are effective immediately.
