New RV Friendly Town

Our latest RV Friendly Town is Waikerie SA.

Waikerie, located in the Riverland region of South Australia, is surrounded by more than a million fruit trees, making it the centre of the state's citrus and fruit industry. With the Sturt Highway passing through the south of the town, Waikerie makes for a great place to stop in for a visit on your next trip.

For those wanting to stay in town for a night or two, parking is available at Holder Bend Reserve & Boat Ramp, along Holder Bottom Road. At no cost, parking only accommodates those with self-contained vehicles, and a maximum stay of seven days applies. Pets on leads are also permitted on-site.

Waikerie’s convenient location means it is only a short drive to neighbouring towns making it the perfect base to explore the Riverland region. Nestled on the river, activities such as fishing, boating, and thrilling water sports, are a popular attraction for most people. Whilst in the region, indulge in some of their delicious local wines, and with plenty of eateries, your taste buds will certainly be tempted.
