CEO Weekly Message

I would like to focus on the most southern state this week, as our first state rally of the year kicks off next week. The Tasmanian State Rally will be held at the Campbell Town Showgrounds from 23 – 28 February. Registration for the event has unfortunately closed, but we are pleased to advise that 263 members across 146 RVs will be attending. Organisers Ken and Vi Newman, along with their Blue Gum Rovers Chapter and additional team, do an outstanding job in organising this event – and this year is no exception. We would like to wish everyone attending this event a great time, and we look forward to seeing all the photos. Thank you to the organisers and all involved in putting this event together.

Prior to the state rally, on Tuesday 21 February at 11am, we will be officially opening CMCA RV Park Geeveston. This park has been operational for some time and is quite popular over the summer months. Chairman Kim Templeton will assist Cr Sally Doyle Mayor of Huon Valley Council in officiating the ceremony.

Both of our CMCA RV Parks in Tasmania, Geeveston (south) and Railton (north), are ideally placed to service the array of members travelling around the Apple Isle. If you are intending to head down at some stage and would like to volunteer as a custodian at either of these parks, please contact NHQ and we will give you the details on how you can assist.

Safe travelling,

Richard
