New RV Friendly Town

Our latest RV Friendly Town is Jundah QLD!

Located above the floodplains of the Thomson River, but close enough to view the local fauna or try your hand at fishing, Jundah is a small outback town in Central West Queensland. This outback town was established back in 1883 and is approximately 1,122 kilometres west of Brisbane.

For those passing through and looking for a convenient place to park their vehicle for a night or two, Jundah Caravan Park offers safe and secure sites. This friendly caravan park offers non-powered sites for a rate of $10.25 per vehicle per night, and lengths of stays can be negotiated. Powered sites are also available for a rate of $15.35 per vehicle per night. Sites are small in size and only suited for vehicles under 11 metres; however, showers, bins, toilets, and a barbecue are all accessible on site.

Visitors can take a stroll down to the scenic Thompson River, where many enjoy an afternoon of fishing or recreational activities. A must do for anyone passing through Jundah, is a visit to Welford National Park, made up of 124,000 hectares of nature’s diverse landscape. The park is approximately 45 kilometres south-east of town, and the drive is a fantastic opportunity to explore our famous outback.
