Government engagement remains a vital part of our mission to promote safer RV travel across Australia. Over the past few days, CMCA has been actively representing our members at the SA LGA Conference in Adelaide, and we will continue these efforts early next week at the NSW LGA Conference in Penrith.
Road safety is at the forefront of national discussion, and through our rvSafe program we are committed to working closely with all levels of government to strengthen education and awareness across the RV community.
These conferences also provide an excellent opportunity to present our CMCA Parks model to councils facing financial or operational challenges with existing tourism assets. Many councils recognise that operating a caravan park isn’t a core responsibility and can place additional pressure on staffing and resources. This is where CMCA can help - offering a sustainable management solution that delivers a financial return to council while providing our members with affordable, quality overnight stays.
This initiative is an important step in our continued growth, helping more people understand who we are, what we do, and the value we provide to our members.
Safe travelling,
Richard
