As travel restrictions within states and territories begin to ease, I encourage all members to start preparing for the reopening of all borders – so that when the time comes, we can extend our travels to other states and territories. As we have been advised by the media, some states are starting to reopen while the reopening of others is delayed. In most states and territories, with the exception of Queensland, some or full intrastate travel is or will soon be permitted. We suggest you start planning for future travel, and resources such as GeoWiki X will be able to assist in doing so. We will continue to reopen our network of CMCA RV Parks as governments ease further restrictions. Currently, Penola, SA and Charleville, Qld are open and Temora, NSW is due to open shortly. We hope to have further information regarding our parks in Railton, Tas, and Bundaberg and Ingham, Qld in the next few days. Once we receive approval, we will reopen them immediately. If you are currently residing in any of these states and wish to assist as volunteer custodians, please contact the staff here at NHQ and we can provide you with the necessary training.
Stay safe,
Richard
