This week, we randomly selected members to participate in a survey regarding CMCA RV Parks and their future development. Some 3,700 members were selected to participate; both of who have and have not frequented a CMCA RV Park. A key discussion point of the survey was whether CMCA should allow non-members to use the park on a limited number of sites basis, for an increased premium. There would be a clear differential between members and non-members. This project would drive membership growth, as the incentive to join would be more attractive. Allowing some public access would also allow CMCA to better negotiate with councils on available land, as the parks would be open to a larger audience. The development of a CMCA RV Park adds more low cost product to the market, something we need Australia wide.
