Good morning from wonderful Mount Gambier. 

Today we are welcoming the first of attendees to the showgrounds which are the first timers. In exciting news, we have a record number of over 300 members attending their first rally. All other attendees will arrive tomorrow.

The grounds are holding up very well despite some inclement weather. It is quite cold here and the wind and rain has made the early stages of setting up a little challenging although our wonderful volunteers have absolutely smashed the preparation work.

The rally officially starts tomorrow night with the Official Opening which we are all looking forward to. Club founder Erica Whitworth (N001) and her son Ian have made the trip to Mount Gambier making the event even more memorable. If you want to view what’s going on during the rally, keep an eye on this Facebook group. Don’t forget, the AGM will take place at 9am on Monday 23rd September, with registration commencing from 8am.

I am sure everyone will have a great time down here in Mount Gambier as the community has been very welcoming.
