This week, a newsletter was distributed seeking member input towards changes being considered for the CMCA Constitution. Members can provide their feedback either via email at constitutionalfeedback@cmca.net.au or by completing the survey that was included in the newsletter. We also linked the current Constitution for comparison purposes, as well as March’s board page which detailed the outcomes of a recent strategic planning meeting that focused on the future direction of CMCA in a rapidly changing environment. All constructive comments will be taken seriously, and we ask members to be considerate of others’ opinions. We are not permitting debate on social media, purely because this platform only represents 10% of the membership. However once feedback is ascertained, members will have plenty of time to comment on the final outcomes. We look forward to receiving your feedback to this important step in the Club’s future.
Also, a big congratulations must be extended to CMCA. CMCA RV Park Temora was awarded a Gold winner in the 2020 Best Grey Nomad Community Stay category. This has come at perfect timing, as we will be hosting an officially opening on Monday 8 March 2021. Director Eleanor Scully will be joined by Cr Rick Firman OAM, Mayor of Temora Shire Council to undertake the official duties. I would also like to thank Temora Shire Council for their support, our Business Development Officer Sean Constable and the wonderful volunteers who have assisted with the development and ongoing service to our members.
Safe travelling
Richard
