As we head into a public holiday long weekend (QLD, ACT, SA and NSW), I would like to remind members that double demerit points are now in place for driving offences in these states and territory. We encourage members to drive safely at all times, but please remember that there may be a significant increase in traffic volumes during this period, making it even more important to be mindful of road conditions. With our 33^rd National Rally coming up, many members will be well and truly on their way to Gunnedah, with the event commencing Saturday 6 October. Final preparations are taking place, with over 700 RVs expected to attend. Please remember that the town does not have water restrictions as their water supply comes from the Great Artesian Basin, and therefore has adequate water supply to cater for our arrival. Gunnedah will receive a well-deserved financial boost as a result of our rally, and we’re happy to be supporting this great community. It’s not too late to register!
