Happy Friday everyone
Yesterday we celebrated the 33rd birthday of CMCA, ticking off another year of growth and development for our members. I would like to take this time to acknowledge the work of Don and Erica Whitworth and their band of friends who assisted in establishing the foundations of the Club. During the past 33 years, the Club has had its ups and downs. However, over the past 15 years it has become financially sustainable, allowing for growth and innovative development. As members are aware, membership fees have not risen since 2000 (this was due to the implementation of GST, so technically fees have not risen since 1998 when members voted for an increase). I am proud that this organisation has been capable of maintaining a realistic fee structure for such an extended period of time. Our plan is to continue for many more years, leaving a strong legacy for future generations to enjoy the benefits of belonging to our Club. Congratulations CMCA on celebrating your 33rd birthday.
Safe travelling
Richard
