I would like to advise members that while we work to continue growing our network of CMCA RV Parks, unfortunately we will not be reopening our park in Chinchilla, Qld as the property has been sold. This RV park was under a 12-month private lease; however, we knew there was the possibility of a future sale. While it is disappointing to lose this park, we will continue to investigate other possibilities around that area. Regarding new park development, the site at Temora, NSW is nearing completion and we have development consent for a site in Geeveston, Tas. We are also looking at other potential sites including a block in Gunnedah, NSW.
We are looking at each state individually as restrictions start lifting to determine when we will reopen our parks.
Hopefully, we can all start travelling again soon, initially intrastate and then potentially start crossing borders into other states and territories. We will establish clear protocols for our CMCA RV Parks when they reopen including social distancing and ensuring vehicles are sited well apart. I believe that when COVID-19 is completely under control, domestic RV tourism will boom - something we are anticipating and planning for.
Stay safe
Richard
