Roadside Assistance

Please see the follow advice from Allianz Global Assistance in relation to their Roadside Assistance service.

From the Crisis Management and Operations Teams

  • RSA has been severely impacted by weather conditions with rainfall and flooding across the Eastern parts of the country, most specifically in Queensland and NSW.
  • We have had a higher than normal call volume as is expected with calls for accident tows, customers hitting unseen potholes, lots of people attempting to get through flood waters on top of usual RSA emergency calls.
  • Our teams continue to operate from both the office and work from home until end of shift on Sunday 27.02.
  • For Monday 28.02,  Allianz Partners has continued to focus on staff safety and we will be  working at home for the day for most of our teams, noting from early Sunday morning have seen some colleagues evacuated from their homes and impacted for power.
  • A delay message has been applied to the phone lines for RSA for awareness of longer wait times to get through to us and will remain in place until Monday am where the situation will be reassessed.
  • It is expected that service levels are impacted during this time as we continue to see people on the road in their vehicles.
  • We will continue to focus on managing the staffing for ongoing delivery of services in conjunction with the personal impacts to those who are affected by local flooding, evacuations and high risk areas.
