As previously advised across our communication channels, I would like to remind the membership that if any eligible member would like to bring any business before the Annual General Meeting as per clause 22.4 of the Company’s Constitution, you are required to give notice of this business in writing to myself as the Company Secretary by 12 noon Friday 28 July 2023. The Annual General Meeting will be held as a part of the 36th National Rally in Dalby, Qld on Monday 9 October commencing at 9am.

Speaking of the rally, final touches to the programme are currently being confirmed. Entertainment, seminars and workshops have been secured, and the venue will be looking fantastic. With just under 3 months to go, we have around 500 registrations (vehicles), which is the equivalent of over 850 members attending. This number includes a whopping 207 first timers, which is very pleasing. We still have capacity for more to attend. On another note, The Solos Network will be conducting their rally from 17 - 22 September in Tara, Qld. It is located only 90km from Dalby. For further information, contact the Solos Rally Manager on 0411 494 200. I have been assured that those who attend will have a great time. In the lead up to the rally, there are also two other huge music events taking place. The inaugural VanJam 23 will be taking place at Willowbank Raceway, Ipswich from 22 - 24 September, followed by the Big Skies Festival which is happening 28 September - 2 October at Jimbour House Amphitheatre (outskirts of Dalby). There is a great deal for CMCA members who attend. Buy a 2-day pass for the Big Skies Festival and enjoy up to 14 nights complimentary camping from 23 September - 8 October at Jandowae Showgrounds as well as bus transfers to and from the concert (Saturday and Sunday).
