The 34th National Rally is now done and dusted, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all members who were involved in this well staged event. The Elmore and Rochester communities received a huge injection financially, which at this time of year has been extremely welcome. The rally itself was a very ‘happy’ event, with the nightly entertainment the highlight of the week. I must thank all members who contributed in raising $20,000 towards the McGrath Foundation and $5700 towards drought relief. The auction held at the ball alone raised over $3500. I would also like to thank rally manager Kath Breen and her husband Rex, as well as their team of coordinators and volunteers who helped make the rally so successful. Congratulations, everyone and we look forward to seeing even more members in Gympie, Qld in late September 2020.
