New RV Friendly Town

Our latest RV Friendly Town is Booleroo Centre, SA!!

Booleroo Centre is a town in the southern Flinders Ranges region of South Australia. Located in the Mount Remarkable District Council local government area, the town is approximately 280 kilometres north of Adelaide.

RV travellers will find the town to be an accommodating place to stay, with suitable parking available at Booleroo Centre Recreation Ground RV Park. Parking is available for up to 48 hours, with powered sites offered at $20 per night and unpowered sites for just $10 per night. Guests will have access to showers, toilets and water, and pets are welcome. As well as potable water being accessible, a dump point is also available for use at the grounds.

History, adventure and the essence of country life can all be found within the peaceful township of Booleroo Centre. Well known for its collection of tractors, steam exhibits, stationary engines and equipment associated with rural and agricultural requirements, Booleroo Centre is home to the Booleroo Steam and Traction Preservation Society Museum. The museum features South Australia's largest collection of steam and traction engines, with more than 150 machines on permanent display, and also holds an annual rally where the machines are cranked into action to showcase how they were once used.
