Our latest RV Friendly Town is Beacon, WA!
Beacon is a small country town located in the North East Wheatbelt and sits approximately 70 kilometres south of the Emu Proof Fence. The area primarily produces wheat and coarse grains and is known for its cattle and sheep farming. However, it once had a thriving Sandalwood industry.
Beacon offers safe and secure parking at the Beacon Caravan Park. Unpowered sites are available for $11 per vehicle per night and powered sites are available for $26 per vehicle per night. The park provides visitors with access to showers, bins, toilets and barbecues. A dump point is located at the carpark opposite the Beacon Co-op, and potable water can also be sourced at this location.
For those looking to explore the area, a visit to Billiburning Rock and Nature Reserve is a must – the natural beauty of the area is breathtaking. Beacon is also well-known for its spectacular wildflowers, when the correct opening season rain occurs.
