CMCA continues to engage with local government authorities and councils, seeking opportunities to develop more RVFTs, dump points, CMCA RV Parks and potential rally sites for its members whilst also advocating for the wider RV travelling community. Last week, director Richard Mainey travelled to the central Queensland town of Emerald to make presentations to the Central Highlands Regional Council and the Central Highlands Development Corporation. Central Highlands local government area encompasses around 60,000 square kilometres, making it just short of the size of Tasmania. CMCA’s proposals were well received and a number of opportunities have been identified for ongoing discussion and development.
