CEO Weekly Message

Registrations for the 35th National Rally in Bingara (northern NSW) from 16 - 23 October are slowly increasing. This is the first time we will be back in Bingara collectively since 2008; our last rally there was considered a huge success. Times have changed substantially over the past 14 years since we were there; however, the friendliness of the town and people have not. In fact, the community is very excited about CMCA returning, and many events have been planned that will complement our event. Speaking of the community’s excitement, this year we will be joining forces with the local community for Open Day. Usually, Open Day takes place on the rally site; however, this year we will be having a street party in town. Buses will operate from the showground to the event throughout the day. It’s not too late to register! Register online at https://members.cmca.net.au/Event/EventRegistration or by calling NHQ on 02 4978 8788 during business hours.

The rally will feature fantastic entertainment, seminars, and educational presentations. The program will keep you busy throughout the week, and the camaraderie the rally will bring is priceless.

If you’re looking to do something different at this rally, have you considered volunteering? We still have spots available in a variety of areas. Without our volunteer base to set up and work within the rally itself, it would be difficult to hold such events. Volunteers arrive early for set up week, then learn about the role you will be undertaking. You will enjoy the fun of using your skills and working alongside fellow members. If you are interested in finding out a little bit more about volunteering at this rally or any rally, give us a call at NHQ and we will be happy to explain the commitment. You are also more than welcome to contact our Bingara Rally Manager Jo Tremain or Secretary Michael Gold at bingararallymanager@gmail.com. Be a part of it, as it is great fun!

Safe travelling

Richard
