Last week we attended the NSW Caravan Camping Holiday Supershow at Rosehill, and with capacity crowds on most days, it proved to be a valuable membership drive for the Club. With the significant number of sales that took place, it is evident that the attendees are wanting to experience the RV lifestyle; however, consumers may face lengthy delays for their new vehicle with the increase in demand. At the show, we unveiled our new rvSafe program, which was very well received, with attendees acquiring new information to help them stay safe while travelling on our roads. Many attendees who visited the stand were seeking information about the RV lifestyle, especially what to expect and what is available to travellers. Our extensive range of member benefits is a major drawcard in itself, with comprehensive insurance and roadside assistance enquiries as well as GeoWiki X information all at the top of the list. On that, I am very pleased with the response by members who have purchased our roadside assistance service and believe that the greater the popularity, the more enticing and value for money the service will become. Please note, I am still in negotiations to include fifth wheelers, caravans, and campers in the service, and hopefully this will come to fruition very soon. 

Consumer shows are extremely important for our marketing strategy, and as such, we will be attending the Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow in Sandown from 12 May to 16 May, and the QLD Let's Go Caravan & Camping Supershow at Brisbane Showgrounds from 2 June to 7 June. We would love to see you at either of these events.
