New RV Friendly Town

Our latest RV Friendly Town is Woodford, Qld!

Located in the Moreton Bay Region of South East Queensland, Woodford offers a little taste of the country right on the city’s doorstep. This quiet town is a charming destination that offers a little something for everyone. Noted for its wide streets, grand old hotel and colonial style shops, it was one of the earliest settlements within the surrounding area.

For RV travellers who would like to pay the town a visit, there is a free 24-hour parking area available to self-contained vehicles. Located at Cruice Park on Cruice Drive, there are toilets and bins available. If you plan to stay a little longer, Woodford Showgrounds offers unpowered sites for $15 per vehicle per night. This rate includes access to showers, toilets and water, and power is available for an additional fee. There is a 7-day maximum stay, and pets on leads are permitted. The town’s dump point is also conveniently located at the showgrounds.

Whether you plan to take a dip at Stony Creek’s swimming hole or view the magnificent colours lighting up the evening sky at Woodford Water Tower (Windows of Woodford), you will have a great time in this delightful town. While a visit will be enjoyable all-year round, the Folk Festival and Woodford Show are loved events that will make for a great excuse to stay.
