With National Volunteer Week taking place next week, we take a moment to acknowledge the spirit of connection and celebrate the incredible volunteers who form the backbone of CMCA. This year’s theme, "Connecting Communities," highlights the power of volunteering to bring people together - creating lasting relationships, enriching lives, and strengthening the communities we’re part of. At CMCA, this connection is at the heart of everything we do, and it’s our volunteers who make it all possible.
Quite simply, CMCA could not operate effectively without the dedication and passion of our volunteers. Whether it’s being a Board Director, State Rep, running chapter events, being a part of the NMST, assisting at CMCA RV Parks, or supporting key initiatives like rvSafe, volunteers are involved in every level of our organisation. They bring heart to our strategic goals and ensure that our club remains strong, inclusive, and forward-moving.
Their work doesn’t just benefit the club; it touches the lives of thousands of members who rely on the camaraderie, knowledge, and support that only a member-driven organisation can offer. From first-time travellers to seasoned nomads, everyone in CMCA has likely experienced the warmth and generosity of our volunteer-driven culture.
This week and every week, we say thank you. Thank you for your time, your skills, and your commitment. You make CMCA not just a club, but a family. If you’ve ever thought about getting more involved, there’s truly something for everyone. Volunteering isn’t just about giving back, it’s also an opportunity to connect, grow, and be part of something bigger than yourself.
To our wonderful volunteers: we see you, we value you, and we celebrate you.
Safe travelling
Richard
