Last week I touched on the floods that are occurring across New South Wales, and today, I wish to extend my thoughts to several towns, in particular; Eugowra, Molong, Condobolin, Canowindra, and Forbes, who is about to be hit for the second time within two weeks. Absolutely devastatingly, Eugowra has been destroyed with houses moved off their foundations and found down the street after floating away in floodwaters. This community, like that of Lismore previously, will be doing it tough for a long time. When the go ahead is given, the clean-up will be massive. There is currently a call out to tradies for assistance, and you can find more information about this HERE. Donations are also appreciated and additional information on what and how to donate can be found HERE. This needs to be conducted with a coordinated approach through Resilience NSW. The river peak has been reached in Forbes, with the town peak to follow. This proactive RV Friendly Town will need our help as well when the water resides, and the clean-up commences.
