CEO Weekly Message

Happy Friday everyone

The volunteers have done a mighty job setting up the picturesque site here at Bingara, in preparation of the surge of members who will be attending the 35th National Rally commencing on Sunday. The programme is now online for members to view the range of activities planned for the week. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Rally Manager Jo Tremain and Rally Secretary Michael Gold for their outstanding commitment and work towards this project. They have had to endure a couple of false starts, but we are pleased that the event is finally coming to fruition. If you would still like to make the trip, it’s not too late. Members can register online or at the gate (unfortunately, no powered sites are available). What happens at the AGM is what will be, you, the members, will deliberate the outcomes for our club moving forward. And just as importantly, we are hoping the weather gods are looking over us for the week ahead.

KT insurance will have a huge presence at the rally as they celebrate 30 years of involvement with CMCA, which is a wonderful partnership. I can advise that the Bingara community are so excited about hosting the event for the second time, with many actively supporting the rally. Open day will be staged downtown as a Street Festival on Saturday 22 October, with many local community members joining in on the action. As previously advised, mobile reception may be limited in some areas of the township.

Whilst travelling, please take care as many of the roads are not in the usual condition because of the weather events in the region.

See you at Bingara,

Richard
