Summary

Come along and travel the west coast of Australia, visiting some of the state’s most popular sites. Adventure across the top of Australia and down the coast exploring the Kimberley, Bungle Bungles and all that the spectacular coastline has to offer including Dirk Hartog Island. Sometimes travelling solo can be a little daunting, especially when you’re covering a lot of ground over a long period of time. If this sounds like you, joining us on this safari will be a great opportunity to explore the west coast in the comfort of your own vehicle and with a group of like-minded people.

Itinerary


Day 1Meet and greet at Big 4 Katherine Breeze; enjoy a dinner together for our first night (included) and get to know your fellow travellers
Day 2
Travel to Victoria River Roadhouse
Day 3
Today we cross into WA and travel to Lake Argyle. We will spend two nights enjoying this beautiful area. Why not book in for a sunset cruise on the lake or have a swim in the infinity pool?
Day 4
Free time in the morning, in the afternoon you will enjoy a sunset cruise -starting at 2.10pm (included)
Day 5
Travel to Kunnannura and stay at Kimberleyland Waterfront Holiday Park for three nights (powered site)
Day 6Enjoy a full day tour out of Kununurra –  a full day river cruise on the Ord River including sunset BBQ dinner on Lake Kununurra

Free day to explore
Day 8
We travel to a bush camp today, no facilities
Day 9
We travel to Mimbi Caves for 1 night, optional extra to do a Mimbi Caves tour (costs involved)
Day 10
We travel to Fitzroy Crossing where we will stay at Fitzroy River Lodge campground for 2 nights (powered site)
Day 11
We enjoy a river cruise at Geikie Gorge
Day 12
We travel to Derby and stay at Kimberley Entrance Caravan Park for one night (powered site)
Day 13
Today we travel to Broome, accommodation TBA, for 4 nights (powered site)

Enjoy a tour on a glass bottom boat including optional snorkeling over the spectacular reefs

We travel to Carnarvon for two nights staying at Wintersun Caravan Park (powered site)

Today we travel to Denham staying at Denham Seaside Caravan Park for 3 nights

Enjoy a 3/4 day tour of the famous Dirk Hartog Island and its spectacular coastline (morning tea and boat transfers included)

Travel to Kalbarri staying at Murchison House Station (unpowered site)

Free day to relax or explore Kalbarri National Park.
Day 32
A very short distance to travel to Geraldton and stay at Sunset Beach Holiday Park with time to explore the area that day
Day 33
Free time in Geraldton, catch up on shopping and explore
Day 34
Today we head to Cervantes and stay at the Cervantes Holiday Park for two nights (powered site)
Day 35
Time to explore in the morning, followed by a sunset Pinnacles guided 4WD bus tour including nibbles 
Day 36
Our last day of travel together we travel to Seabird Tavern Caravan Park, Seabird for our last night together. Dinner at the pub (included, drinks not included)
Day 37
We say goodbye to the friends we have met and continue our independent travels
