CMCA conducted an RV Road Tourism Forum on Monday 12 August 2019 in Brisbane and delivered a Situation Report for Queensland. CMCA identified that significant change is required for low cost camping development. The forum presented information, case studies and a way forward to an audience representing all levels of Government, industry, stakeholders and consumers. The speakers and presentations included Richard Barwick (CMCA CEO), Tony Charters (Tony Charters & Associates), Cr Paul Trustcott (Fraser Coast Council), Mayor Jack Dempsey (Bundaberg Regional Council), Darren Schooth (Executive Manager Operations – QLD Rugby League) & Bob Bidwell (Consultant).
