Kangaroo Island Meanderings 2026

Day 1  Meet up at Wellington Caravan Park for a meet and greet happy hour followed by dinner at the pub (included).

Day 2  Travel to Victor Harbor staying two nights (powered site).

Day 3  Free time at Victor Harbor, easy walk to the shopping precinct and Granite Island Tramway.

Day 4  We will split up into 3 groups and allocated a time on the ferry. First 2 nights on Kangaroo Island will be at the Penneshaw Caravan park where we will regroup (powered site).

Day 5  A short walk to the marina after lunch to hop on board a private 75 minute ocean safari (included). Free time in the morning to have a look around, walk the sculpture trail, take in the beautiful scenery.

Day 6  Travel to Murray Lagoon for 1 night. On the way we will stop at Emu Ridge Distillery for lunch then go onto Clifford Honey Farm for an informative tour (lunch & tour included)(unpowered stay).

Day 7  Travel to Discovery Lagoon for 1 night stopping at Seal Bay on the way where you will have a guided walk on to the beach within 15 metres of the seals (included).

Day 8  Travel to Discovery Park Western Kangaroo Island to stay for 3 nights. We will stop at the Lavender Farm on the way for morning tea (included). Here you will have some free time to explore Flinders Chase NP, sealed roads to the sights. Here you can see Admirals Arch, Remarkable Rocks and viewing platform of the seals. A National Park pass will be provided.

Day 9   Free time today.

Day 10 Spend a couple of hours at the Hanson Wildlife Sanctuary in the morning (tour included) free time for the rest of the day.

Day 11 Travel to Kingscote where we will stay for 2 nights (powered site).

Day 12 Free time in Kingscote to look around.

Day 13 Travel to Lashmar camping ground (unpowered) for 1 night. On the way we will stop at American River for morning tea and then on to Cape Willoughby for a tour of the lighthouse (all included). Our last night together on the island, we will have a BBQ dinner (provided).

Day 14 The group is once again split into 3 groups for the return sail back to the mainland and we go off on our independent travels.


Please note:

  • - Some good unsealed roads, suitable for all vehicles
  • (NOTE: This cost includes the passenger component only on the ferry, the vehicle will be extra and ranges from $290 for a small motorhome to $700+ for car and caravan).
